1 in 5: Insomnia is the most common sleep disorder and affects many people at some time in their life. Persistent insomnia affects about 8% of the population. Sleep apnea is becoming more common and unfortunately most people have not been diagnosed. It probably affects 10% of the adult population.

Incidence: Incidence of snoring is approx 2 % incidence of sleep apnea approx 5% incidence of insomnia approx 10 % delayed sleep phase is higher perecentage in teens etc.
