Change diet: I have found that most who are diagnosed as bipolar actually have low blood sugar. This problem can cause sleep problems too. I recommend my patients cut out all sugar and artificial sweeteners & eat protein only for breakfast along with a small protein snack mid morning & mid afternoon as well as protein with lunch & dinner. I have cleared many bipolar patients with this diet & helped their sleep.
