A member asked:

Is it normal to have a feeling of sadness when you first wake up in the morning? (it goes away in about fifteen minutes)

I hope not: Waking up sad every morning is not most people's version of "normal." but it can happen in many situations, like grieving a loss, being generally unhappy in your life, or even being clinically depressed. With the latter, people often feel worse in the morning than later in the day. You could see a therapist or psychiatrist to explore what's specifically going on with you, and get some help.
