Dr. Amir Khan answered

Confirm diagnosis: Arthritis at 25 is rare. Arthritis can develop if there is underlying history of severe knee trauma, knee alignment problems, diseases auch as rheumatoid arthritis etc. Oftentimes doctors may describe chondromalacia patella, (knee cap cartilage wear/tear/inflammation) as early arthrits. This is a common condition and not serious . Treat with nsaid's, pt, & braces. See orthopedist for confirmation.
