Depends!: Do you have inflammation in your knee causing arthritis, or injury. At 44, your cartilage will not stand up as well to either. But know one can say how bad with the info you provided. But if are having knee pain, you most likely have some arthritis! arthritis means "joint pain with inflammation, " but most use the term for chronic joint symptoms alone!
