Appendectomy. the doctor recommends diagnostic laparoscopy. can this help or is it needed?

Laparoscopy: Laparoscopic surgery is quite common for appendix surgery. I am not sure if understand your question. Sometimes a diagnostic laparoscopy is performed if the diagnosis is uncertain, such as pain with normal blood and x-ray tests, where the surgeon is using a small incision surgery to look for a possible cause of pain.
