Somatization...: ..disorder used to be called hysteria. It's characterized by a bewildering array of recurring somatic symptoms, especially dizziness (that's a biggie). pain, gastrointestinal distress, sexual problems, shortness of breath, pseudoneurological symptoms such as amnesia, & on & on without end. Assuming all organic causes are ruled out, it's a psychiatric disorder & should be treated as such.
