Prolonged QT syndrom: This is a rare inborn heart condition which result in irregular heart beats that originate from the ventricles. Symptoms are palpitations, fainting & sudden death. Treatment is arrhythmia prevention techniques thru medications or surgery, also avoid medications that can prolong the q-t interval.
