Rectocele?: Rectocele is often called rectal prolapse but not quite the same thing it's a bulge of the rectum into the vagina and a vaginal surgery with recovery to full activity @6-8weeks but light duty in1-2 weeks. True rectal prolapse is prolapse through the anus and can be done abdominally vaginally or rectally with big differences in recovery and long term success.

4-6 weeks: Depending on what type of prolapse surgery you have and whether you have any other medical problems that affect healing, i would plan on 4-6 weeks.
