What are precautions for those who have prosthetic limbs?

A doctor has provided 1 answer
Dr. Gary Wang answered

Percautions: 1. Keep functional range of motion of the joints above the prosthesis. 2. Local skin care. Keep no breakdown. 3. Appropriate distribution of weight over the weight bearing site. 4. Keep appropriate muscle strength and endurance through exercise and using the limb it self. Prosthetic limb should use routinely. The more you use, the more you feel comfortable.
