Followup: If you suspect you are having problems with the cast, don't hesitate to be seen. Itching does not usually indicate a problem with the cast. What ever you do, do not stick something down the cast to try to scratch the arm to relieve the itch. This can cause infection which can be quite advanced before it is detected under the cast.
