Is it possible to have adverse reaction to numbing injections or gels, for example at a mole biopsy?

Possible: You never know how your body will respond to any medication until you don't have it, so off course you can have an adverse reaction. It could be more frequenly a local reaction with inflamation on the area where the shot was placed or a more generalized reaction.
