Not necessarily: This is the least accurate of the celiac antibodies and can be elevated in absence of celiac disease. The most accurate antibodies are the tissue transglutaminase IgA and the endomysial iga.

I have a positive gliadin IgG for celiac disease. What does this mean?
Can coming down with a cold around the time of an ttg IgA test screw up the test results?. My results were IgA =78 and igg= 94 . Positive for Celiacs.
