Pain to touch: This is usually the sign of a bruise, spasm, or tendinitis. Pain to the touch is not likely nerve related. If the pain is between the spine and your shoulder blade, i would consider levator syndrome (muscle irritation) likely due to posture especially computer work. Rest, ice, nsaid's, and salonpas hot patches (capsacian patches) are good. Change your posture, monitor at eye level.
