Magnesium: You can try magnesium supplement. Typically up to 600mg twice daily is safe. Increase slowly to bowel tolerance, as has a laxative effect. Asthma is a red flag for food allergy/sensitivity, so get tested, or start with eliminating grains and dairy from diet, as these are the most common culprits. Eggs and soy are also common culprits.
