Y-if no pain/catcing: Not all meniscal tears need significant treatment. As long as your knee is not painful or catching from the tear, home therapy may be fine. Maintenance of motion (epsecially full extension) and quadricep strength are basics components of a prescribed therapy program you can safely do on your own at home.
