Clots?: Many perimenopausal women do not produce enough progesterone. The Prometrium (micronized progesterone) will help to keep your uterine lining thin. If you take the Prometrium (micronized progesterone) each month, your heavy bleeding should improve. If you continue to have heavy bleeding, you may need a higher dose of prometrium, (micronized progesterone) take it for more days or change to a different progesterone.

Clots ?: Prometrium (micronized progesterone) will thicken the endometrial lining and cause uniform shedding of the lining. Like a chemical d and c . Follow up with your gynecologist since this bleeding may be need further intervention.
