Good point: You acknowledge that it is not healthy. That is very correct. You should not try to lose that much weight that quickly. The other half of the equations is that when you lose weight that fast, you invariably gain it back.

Losing weight: The only person who should try to lose weight that fast is someone who is morbidly obese and is losing weight under medical supervision. To lose weight insure that calories burned > calories consumed. Drink at least 8 - 8 oz glasses of water /day. Try for 8 hrs of sleep/night. Aim for at least 5 servings of vegetables & 4 of fruit per day. Use whole grains. Avoid sodas, alcohol & junk carbs
