Symptoms bothersome: Mild rectocele may not cause any symptoms and often unnoticed, but severe cases can cause much discomfort, trouble with bm, pressure, sensation of incomplete bm, and in some cases with severe. Rectocele is generally not a dangerous condition, so surgical treatment is only needed if symptoms are bothersome and conservative treatments not adequate. Talk to your doc/surgeon about it. Good luck.
