What can be the effects of a partial hysterectomy where the uterus is removed but the ovaries are left behind?

Not correct: Partial hysterectomy means part of uterus was not removed , usually cervix was left behind if that is the case need follow up for cervical cancer ( pap smear) , if ovaries are not removed need observation for ovarian cancer ( sonograms ).
