A member asked:

Can a woman still have a clitoral orgasm if she has a hysterectomy? im going to have my uterus removed, too much bleeding monthly along with pain. im keeping my ovaries, that should help with not going through early menopause, right? thanks.

Orgasm, yes: clitoral, and vaginal if able before. The uterus contributes to orgasmic sensations, but if you have pain and bleeding, the postop orgasm may better. Ovaries keep making hormones, if they are healthy, keeping them is reasonable.
