Skin testing: Dust allergy can be evaluated in two way: skin testing or blood testing. Skin testing can be done in an allergist's office and after the test is done one can get the answer in 15 - 20 minutes. Blood testing requires one to get a prescription for the blood work, got to a lab to get the blood drawn, have the blood sent to the lab, have the specimen processed and the test run the have report sent out.
