Ibuprofen : Ear pain can be due to several causes, and all of them can be alleviated by ibuprofen. There are outer, middle and inner ear infections, eustachian tube dysfunction, temporomandibular joint inflammation, sinus and throat causes of ear pain. Pain is a marker of inflammation and Ibuprofen is a reasonable anti inflammatory medication.
