Depressive episode: The person may withdraw from social activities s/he previously enjoyed, because they have no interest in them anymore. S/he may have crying spells, or feel disconnected from emotions; may also feel no connection to other people. There may be feelings of intense and unreasonable guilt and worthlessness. Also, the person may contemplate or attempt suicide rather than continue to suffer.
