Family history: If you have some family history of mood disorders (depression, bipolar, etc) your chances are higher than others without this. Genetics is one influence, and also the environment and patterns created when one is raised by people who are ill. Even with this, there is much you can do preventively. Good, whole foods; regular exercise & sleep; a life purpose that moves you; and healthy relationships.

Stress & Moods: Not sure what your stressors are & how they are impacting your daily activities or daily functioning. Predisposition to mood disorder is more likely if strong family history of mood disorders, along with severe stress that negatively impacts your perceptions & moods.
