Yes: Because fmf is a relatively rare condition there are few studies of large numbers to answer this really well. Colchicine is used for symptom control in fmf. Data suggest now real difference in pregnancy outcome in treated vs untreated groups, but treatment helps with symptoms. Genetic testing for offspring is recommended. Increased infertility rates and miscarriages (~25%) with this disease.
