Can anyone tell me what major roles exercise play in bone health in seniors?

Very important: Bone health (i.e. The prevention of osteoporosis) is maintained with a combination of daily calcium intake and weight bearing exercise such as jumping, jogging, dancing, hiking, and walking. A person may also benefit from taking additional medications as prescribed by your physician. Talk to your doctor about how much calcium intake is right for you.

Bone: Bone density decreases with age. More so in women than in men. Exercise helps to slow down that process!
