Soccer headgear: Although there are protective helmets available, studies have had inconsistent results on how effective they are for preventing concussions. Head injury can occur regardless of the age of the other team members. What is most important is, if your daughter does have impact to her head, that she stop playing and be assessed by a doctor. Too many kids continue playing and risk further injury.

Soccer : No specIal headgear recommended for soccer just no hitting ball with head until properly taught
