when is abnormal curvatures of the spine significant for a patient?

Dr. Edwin Schuller

Symptomatic: When they are symptomatic. Measuring the angles of the curves in the spine is the classic way to follow the curves. Back pain is typically the first symptom. Down the road interference with the functioning of the internal organs they were meant to protect by encasing them becomes problematic - like respiratory embarresment or digestive dysfunction. The best evaluation is by your pcp or ortho.
