What is the difference between osteochondroma and osteosarcoma tumors?

Benign vs cancer: Osteochondromas are the most common form of non-cancerous bone tumors, usually look like they are growing on the bone surface, and do not spread beyond the affected bone. Osteogenic sarcomas are aggressive cancerous bone tumors that typically cause destruction of the involved bone as well as producing new bone in a haphazard fashion.
