Recurrence?: If your surgery was with in a year or so, make sure it is not recurrence.Go back to your operating surgeon for a check up.

Recurrence: Recurrence after pilonidal surgery is a real entity and it happens, unfortunately more often than we'd like to admit. It sounds like you are having a recurrence. I'd suggest seeing a specialist for this, as he/she can counsel you on the various different surgeries, especially in the setting of re-operation.
