Pyelonidal Cyst: It depends on how the cyst was treated last year . Normally these cysts should be treated surgically to remove the sac . If that was not done , then it filled again & it opened itself to drain See a general surgeon for antibiotics & to pack it & to eventually get the sac removed once & for all to prevent recurrence . Pilonidal Cyst: You have a pill ideal cyst. The only way to remove this type of lesion is surgical removal. Just make sure the doctor has experience removing this type of cyst. Antibiotics can help if the cyst if it is infected but this will not cure the cyst. Incision and drainage will also not remove the cyst.
