A member asked:

Does having lots of nosebleeds mean some sort of clotting factor deficiency?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessarily: There can be various local reasons in the nose that can cause recurrent nosebleeds. If you bruise easily, have bleeding gums, or have heavy periods in association with recurrent nosebleeds, you may have a blood disorder. Your ENT and primary care doctor along w/ a hematologist may all need to work together to help diagnose this disorder.
