Gotten over a uti, but still having pain in the back area near the kidneys?

CT Scan: The flank pain could be from bacterial reinfection or persistence. A urinalysis, urine culture, and ct scan will help reveal the cause of the persistent flank pain. A further course of the same or different antibiotic may be needed, and a nidus, such as a stone, may be the cause.
