A member asked:

What type of carcinoma could it possibly be if it's in your bones?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Two types generally: Metastatic tumor and primary bone cancer. Metastatic tumors are much more common, with breast, lung and prostate the most common. A primary bone cancer (osteosarcoma) is the most common, but chondrosarcomas, and even multiple myeloma (a type of blood cancer) can be seen in the bone. Based on your age, if you have the tumor, a primary osteosarcoma would be more likely.
