Various treatments: Myelodysplastic syndromes are a group of disorders which are caused by poorly formed blood cells or ones which don't work properly. Rx for myelodysplastic syndromes generally targets slowing progression of the disease, managing symptoms, such as fatigue, and prevention of bleeding and infections. Treatments include blood transfusions & meds to enhance blood cell growth & fight infections.
