No rods age 34: At the age of 34 i would not recommend rods.I hope there are orthopedic dr's on this site with more expertise for you.

Usually: Use of rods to correct khyphoscoliosis is not a new procedure. It has been available for several decades. It's success has been proven in multiple studies. We do not seek to always fully correct the curve. We seek to balance the spine with scoliotic surgery.
