Depends on time.: You should do whatever your retina specialist, who repaired your retinal detachment, tells you what you can do. Immediately after surgery you will be closely followed to see if your retina reattached. If it has, then in general you can quickly return to normal activities except contact sports. If it has not reattached then your activities will be limited as you may need a second procedure.
