Probably: Depends on the overall heart function and severity of disease. In general patients do very well if they follow their treatment plan, stop smoking, control blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes. Each case is different however.

Heart bypass is a mechanism of providing Oxygen and Nutrients to heart muscles and cells that would, otherwise, be compromised by the primary heart disease. Using Anti-Aging/ Age Management and Regenerative Medicine principles -with diet and supplements based on micronutrient analysis , and appropriate lifestyle changes ... One can potentially live very long healthy life.

How long on average does it take to do a heart bypass surgery?

About 4 hours: Well it depends on exactly what type of surgery. Also it depends on whether there are any complicating problems that might occur during the surgery. It also depends on how fast the surgeon is. The result is more important than how long it takes, so if it takes longer, the patient may do fine. I sometimes ask how long does it take you to drive home or bake a cake. It might vary from day to day.
