I was on nifedipine for my hypertension.recently i went through a heart bypass surgery and currently on bisoprolol , isosorbide.can i continue nifedipi?

Ask your doctor: Without knowing all of your medical history or allergies, specific advice should be left to your treating physicians. Tight blood pressure control is important and based on your heart disease, bisoprolol is a reasonable choice of antihypertensive. An ace-inhibitor may also be useful, but again, please refer to the good judgement of your doctors. Be well.

No: If Nifedipine was not on your discharge meds.From your bypass surgery. Your doctor does not want you to take it. Talk to your cardiologist on your next visit.
