Tight blood pressure control is important and based on your heart disease, bisoprolol is a reasonable choice of antihypertensive. An ace-inhibitor may also be useful, but again, please refer to the good judgement of your doctors. Be well.

No: If Nifedipine was not on your discharge meds.From your bypass surgery. Your doctor does not want you to take it. Talk to your cardiologist on your next visit.
