A member asked:

What is a mct diet for chylothorax patients?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No fats...: Mct are medium chain triglycerides that supply the dietary essential fatty acids. They are not absorbed through the lymphatic system and therefore decrease the flow of chyle in hope of resolving the chylothorax (which is chyle in the thoracic cavity).
