No.: About half of the time, appendicitis is as obvious as the nose on my face. Other times, there are subtle differences that can mimic other illnesses. Over the last 20 years, the diagnosis of appendicitis in these ? Cases has been greatly aided by cat scans. An important consideration is that appendicitis changes in time: someone can look very different hours later.
