A member asked:

Why is vomiting a natural symptom of appendicitis?

Great question: It has to do with the way we perceive pain from our intestinal tract. Our skin senses pain in a very precise way to help us avoid hazards. The intestines send pain signals in a different way to the brain and in severe cases can cause the nausea and vomiting you described.
