A member asked:

Will the growth of a child be affected if they were a premature baby?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: Most preemies remain relatively small initially, depending on how small and how early they were to begin with. Then most eventually catch up by 1-2 years old. Some smaller preemies, especially those that had problems during the pregnancy or after birth, will always be small.
