Specializes in Hospital-based practice

No: Paramedics are limited in their knowledge of diseases that are seen in clinics. They are only trained to stabilize critically injured or ill patients. If the BP low they start an IV and give fluids. May give something for pain. Take vital signs report to the er physician.
