A member asked:

Is there a difference between insufflation and oral ingestion?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Oral ingestion is taking something in by mouth, eating. Insufflation is the process of blowing something in. Some medications are blown into the lungs, insufflation. Blowing insulation into walls would be an other example.
