Usually within 2 wee: Most cases of uveitis can be treated with topical steroids with a resolution of inflammation within 1-2 weeks. Some cases are recalcitrant to treatment and take longer. Some patients need to taper their treatment slowly to avoid a rebound.

Variable: Most recover fairly quickly over 1-2 weeks at most. But some are persistent, especially if recurrent. These may take longer; or higher doses of treatment; or sometimes systemic agents which can deliver higher doses of very strong agents to the eye. There are ophthalmologists who specialize in uveitis so if you have a persistent case, contact one of them.
