About 90%: After a properly done uae, about 90% of patients have improvement in abnormal bleeding. 80-85% of patients have relief from bulk or pressure symptoms. Recovery is typically 10-14 days. The complication risk is much lower than surgeries such as myomectomy or hysterectomy. For more information and a specific recommendation, a patient should see an interventional radiologist with uae experience.
