Yes: Progesterone only forms of contraception, like the mirena, (levonorgestrel) do no increase the risk of clots is the veins, a problem which can lead to pulmonary embolism. Remember that pregnancy itself can increase the risk of venous thrombosis by 5x normal, so using effective contraception is important for you.
