How many years is an allergy test good for, before you have to recheck it?

Depends...: If you were skin tested (+) to environmental allergens as an adult, i usually do not recommend re-skin testing unless you change geographic location or you suspect a new allergy such as an animal from prolonged exposure.

Can you let me know how many years is an allergy test good for?

Depends: Since allergies can change over time--develop more or sometimes lose allergies, it can be helpful to retest. While there is no one single correct answer, i generally test if symptoms suggest a new allergy or there is a new exposure. There is no reason to repeatedly test a patient already on allergy shots. To follow kids with food allergies, testing once a year is standard to assess for tolerance.
